Music Vault Academy
Music Vault Academy is a music school unique in the fact that our lessons are designed to teach all necessary aspects of musicianship. Firstly, we offer private and group music lessons, that include sight reading, technique and general music theory. Secondly, we provide many performing opportunities at Student Showcases, held on our stage, and at other events, held throughout Orange County. Thirdly, we encourage and help our students to perform with other students, formally through our band programs or informally by finding other students willing to perform together at the different events. Lastly, through our free recording studio classes, we teach students how to record and what to do and expect in a recording studio.
Our Band Program includes any type of groups from rock bands to classical ensembles. It focuses on teaching students how to perform together.
Our Group Classes range from Music Theory and different Instrument Groups to Recording Studio Prep and Music Production classes.

The effectiveness of private and group lessons will be limited if sufficient practice isn’t happening at home. It is the student’s and parent’s responsibility to ensure sufficient quality practice time happens each week. If you have questions regarding how much you should be practicing or what are good practice techniques, please speak with your instructor.
Tuition & Payments
Monthly tuition is due the first of the month. Tuitions are as listed with each program description. All tuitions do not cover the cost of instrument rental, music, and materials.
Charter School students must provide the funding certificate to Music Vault prior to the start of the month for which the funds are available. Overpayments and extra funds are available for purchasing services and products from Music Vault for up to six months, after which they expire. Per Charter Schools’ policies, we cannot refund these funds directly to the students.
For private lessons, the monthly tuition will be based on the number of weeks in that particular month; either four or five.
For students beginning mid-month, the tuition will be pro-rated and then the monthly tuition will start on the 1st of the following month. Some group classes may not be available to begin mid-session and others classes may have additional requirements prior to joining the class.
A registration fee of $40 per student ($65 per family) is non-refundable and due at time of registration, or re-registration. This fee is paid annually per academic year.
A $25 late fee will be added to any monthly account not paid in full by the tenth (10) of the month. Any account over thirty days delinquent may result in a discontinuation of lesson privileges.
Any non-sufficient funds fees assessed by the bank for any returned check or declined electronic funds will be added to the tuition.
There are no discounts offered.
To withdrawal, either temporarily (suspend) or permanently (cancel), from the lessons, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org no later than the 15th of the month. If you withdrawal after the 15th of the month, you will be responsible for the next month’s fees in full. Informing your teacher of your withdrawal is an appreciated courtesy, but that alone does not stop your financial obligation to the school. Withdrawals must be made in writing, by email. Within 24 hours of receiving your withdrawal email, you should receive an email confirmation. If you do not receive a confirmation email, resend your email. After receiving your withdrawal notice, your account will be made inactive and any financial obligations still outstanding will be made with “auto-pay”.
Withdrawal must be submitted in writing, by email to Music Vault Academy and NOT to the teacher.
There is also the option of putting the account on hold and keep the same teacher and spot in the schedule. The fee to put the account on hold is $50 per half hour lesson per month.
All sales are final. Any available credits can only be used to purchase Music Vault’s services and/or products.
Cancellations by the teacher can be credited towards the following month. Rescheduling is possible based on student and teacher availability.
No refunds or credits are given for missed lessons. Tuition reserves a student’s lesson time each week.
Students must be willing to occasionally purchase materials necessary for lessons. This includes lesson books, sheet paper and recordings of music. All materials are at the discretion of the teacher.
